Leipsic operates motorcycle MVC

Sunday afternoon April 2 at 1:10pm the Leipsic Fire Co. along with Rescue Co. 44, Kent County Paramedics and Trooper 4 were alerted for a motor vehicle collison with injuries involving a motorcycle. 1st Assistant Chief Boe Virdin went on location as reported and assumed Leipsic command. Rescue 53 w/ Chief Sam Boots, Squad 53 w/ Crew Leader Jeremy Virdin, Brush 53 w/ Assistant Chief Joey Marker and A-53 hit the streets immediately after the having the annual memorial service. The patient was then transported to Christiana Hospital by Trooper 4. Units responding Rescue 53, Squad 53, Brush 53, 53-17 , Ambulance A-53, Rescue 44, Kent County Paremedic Unit KM6, B-64. Special thanks to the Citizens Hose Company, Kent County Paramedics, Smyrna American Leigon Ambulance Service, and the Delaware State Police Traffic and Aviation Divisions.
